thank you for your precision. precision is necessary when dealing with complex rules interaction. and yea, i was being lazy, and didn't bother to pull up the character map to figure out how to do the proper long em-dash. part of that is because i posted from my school computer which is windows (just another pane in the glass ;D ), instead of my computer which is a mac... the char-map is so much easier to work with on a mac. nonetheless, it is appreciated. ^^
when posting, i frequently am lax about details in grammar and punctuation. oddly enough, i find myself the opposite when i'm posting in dm voice. =D
now that you posted it for me, i feel motivated enough to edit my original post. heheh. though i can't seem to edit the thread title. oh well.
*edit* also, i looked up the 3.0 entry, looking for guidance on intent and rules. turns out that there is a feat line in the monster entry, which is also listed as a non-ability. ^^
