What DVDs do you throw in??

I've been using Firefly and Sports Night. I'd have them on while I'm writing and going through the boards.

If I popped in Firefly I would be too distracted to do anything else for too long.

Oh heck, same goes for Sports Night...

I usually just throw on music. I like to sing along...

I just got a 5 DVD changer and I've got it filled right now with the following:

Godzilla Mothra King Ghidorah Giant Monsters All-Out Attack!
Pirates of the Caribbean
The Great Escape
Seabiscuit (have to watch this one yet)
Sinbad & The Legend of the Seven Seas

I'm mostly watching Godzilla (didja see this one? It's a beaut!) but I did watch The Great Escape for the first time the other day. Great movie! Did NOT end the way I was thinking it would. I have my computer desk set up so that it has a great view of the TV. I tend to have the TV on all the time I'm at the desk.

Movies or TV in the background doesn't work for me. Either I'm watching it or I'm not. Music, on the other hand, I can do. I ripped about 30% or so of my regular 80s pop music collection onto a CD as mp3s -- got nearly 200 songs on there. That's a good one to just put on shuffle and go to town.

Of course, if I put my 80s New Wave stuff out there, it'd take a lot more room...

Ditto here. I don't understand how anyone can just put on the TV or a DVD and not pay attention to it. If I try do do other stuff my attention always drifts back to what's playing.

However, If I'm watching a DVD it's currently either:

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 7
Babylon 5 Season 4
Firefly
a James Bond movie

I usually listen to music, or occassionally I'll leave CNN on to get caught up on news. Most of the time it's music of just quiet though... I like the (relative) quiet when I work, especially in the morning.
