What end of the candycane do you start on first?

I start with the hook. I hadn't realized there were so many anti-hookites. I blame the decline of morals in kids today. Danged candy-cane deviants.

Straight end first. I like to bring the straight end to a sharp point when I'm really bored.

But rarely can I suck on something (especially coughdrops and lolipops) without giving in to crunching down on it.

Probably a good thing I'm straight (end first)...

I break the hook off, crunch it up, and then suck the rest to a point or crunch it up, depending on mood.

But I don't think I've eaten one in years....

I don't do candy cane. Sucking on a stick makes me feel awkward.

I'd go for the M&Ms. Or Hawaiian Host Chocolate, if I can get to it.

I'm a straight ender. Used to go both ways, but the straight end would inevitably get wet and get my cheek all sticky while I was sucking the hook part.
