What ever happened to RIFTS?

I remember several years ago I picked up several Rifts suppliments. The setting was very interesting, but when it came time to actually run a game, I realized I absolutely HATED the rules system. And thus...my suppliments were dispersed around the globe through the glory of E-bay.

So today, curious, I hopped over to their web page and it looks like the system hasn't been updated at all. At least, the cover of the main looks the same as the one I had years ago.

Is it still going? Plans to revise? Any chance of a d20 conversion?

AFAIK, RIFTS is still going strong, using the same system as ever. From what I hear about Kevin Siembieda, the chances of there ever being a RIFTS d20 are about as large as the chances of Gary Gygax marrying Lorraine Williams.

Rifts has a large fanbase of people that like the game and like the rules. The guy in charage has shown that he has no intention of updating the rules and people who don't like the rules they seem to really not care about.
