I prefer print but I like getting both; that's one reason I love Pathfinder. For the material I want at the gaming table, I can cut and paste from the electronic document or just print out that article (I have a nice laser printer at home). I like that, but I also like something to read in bed or in a nice comfy chair with the dog beside me.

Thats why I want one of these:

85 votes in and I'm the only one who's selected 'Electronic Only'. Yay me! :) I don't game over the table at all, and only online, so it's much more useful to store pdfs in a memory stick or something and carry it around to use as I need. Since I can log on and play from any PC in the world, it makes perfect sense to have it all electronic. Acsess to almost my entire gaming library in a flash - most if you include the SRD.

My thing is - I only game online as well, but I find print far more preferable to PDF/HTML when needing to read a substantial amount of text: if I'm making a character, need to choose spells, or some other lengthy task.

Ok, cool. Glad to hear. I haven't bought any WotC PDFs in a while (for the above mentioned reasons).

I agree about the price thing though. I usually only buy when Drivethrough has them on sale.

Hi
I voted both, but the truth is even when I buy or download free pdfs, I print them out to use them at the game table or even just to read them. A computer, even a laptop is too clunky for the porcelain reading chair. :)

I prefer to have things in both electronic and print formats. The print form is easier on the eyes, and is great for getting the inspirations and doing initial plannings. The electronic form is more portable and easier to reference during play.

Well, for 3.5 it's print for the core books, and then photocopied pages of whatever the PRC is for my character (so electronic would be fine as long as I could print it).

Magazines, adventures, etc... electronic. When I run games I like to write all over the adventure. I used to photocopy the dungeon adventure I was running so I could take notes and not damage the original magazine. Now with pathfinder I get both... I hope other publishers make this a standard someday.

Print. Although I do like having the art available as an electronic resource so I can create campaign visual aids to use at the table and stuff. But I can scan or take a quick picture with my digital camera if worse comes to worse.
