2e
Though I've now played 3.Xe for longer than I played 2e in highschool, there's just something about thac0, fixed saving throws, racial class limits and absurd multiclassing that says, "DnD".
I suppose I'll always fondly remember the time spent trying to figure out what the rules said, and then saying, "buggerit", and making something up. I wouldn't want to play it now, but I do love 2e for those memories.
