What games or game systems do you miss playing?

I miss Torg, which I played religiously all through college.

The guys I game with LOVED Torg, but I could never get into it. They bought EVERYTHING. I tried it a couple times, and just didn't like it. Plus, they played Torg on Sundays, and that's a day I reserve for other things, so I never got the exposure to it like some folks.

Marvel Superheroes and DC Superheroes were both fun games, though I'd say that I liked the Marvel version's superhero-creation system more.

I miss TMNT and Chill. TMNT was fun, wacky, and filled with variety. Chill wasn't as creepy as say, Call of Cthulhu, but had a broader focus.

I haven't gotten to play Clay-O-Rama since elementary school, alas. But I don't think I've had a ready supply of clay at home since then.

I'd say that I miss V:tM, but I got out of that when it began to really be consumed by LARPing.

Oh man I completely forgot about TMNT... wow that's been a while. I had a cool Porupine character I based off that chick in Nightbreed.

As far as LARPing goes, I live in a small town so LARPing never affected me - you'd have to travel a couple hours to find LARPers to laugh at.

Twilight 2000. Gang war in Stockholm, with tanks, was never as much fun. :D

Also Traveller. Great tech and brilliant vehicle creation.

Oh man, I haven't seen anyone mention Chill in years. I really liked that game, but could never find anyone who wanted to play it. I've still got the rulebook and several of the splat books - I should dig those out.

I miss playing Shadowrun in college. I don't miss Shadowrun, per se, but I miss sitting around in a dorm room with Messiah, Prodigy, or White Zombie blasting, drinking Mountain Dew, and rolling lots and lots of d6s.

The two games I miss the most are TORG and Flashing Blades.

I would've added Earthdawn to the list, but we've just begun one campaign in that system this week.

Marvel Super Heroes. Almost every day at lunch for 2 years, I played MSH with a few guys in high school. Yeah, the game had flaws, but we had lots of fun playing. I sold all my books in college, though, when I thought I'd never play it again. I wish I had them now, I had just about everything TSR published for the game.

I miss Amber a lot. Many of the best roleplaying experiences I've had were in that game. I also miss playing in the rich settings of Ars Magica and Fading Suns.

I'd also say that I miss playing Marvel Superheroes, but that may be a bit disingenious, because I GM it every few months, every time I go back to Toronto to visit. I really do miss playing it though.
