What Gaming Stuff Are You Getting/Giving For Christmas?

Well I am slated to go to college in 2007 for the spring semester. The computer I currently have (not the one I'm using now) isn't that bad...but no where near the specs you gave your friend. (IE barely 1 GIG Amathlon processor, HD space is about...30 gigs at best.) And my current HD has some how corrupted the file system on Windows 2000.

So yeah, I think could use something like that. :)

All right Nightfall ... I tell you what. You give me your physical address at mycanid at yahoo dot com and I will do what I can.

No promises, but I MAY (and only may) be able to get an Athlon 2.2 ghz machine into your hands. It would be a bit of a speed bump only, but certainly worthwhile - at least IMO. Whaddaya think?

Edit: Thought I should make the qualification here. I have one computer that I may give to a syoung, single, pregnant mother (first kid). If she does not want it then I could send it to you.

Getting - Dungeon Subscription and $100-200 on my new computer

Giving - Minis for all my players, considering we are using quarters and the minis from The Basic Game (I like them, but its time for a change) and some Dice cause they always use mine, and there isn't enough to go around.

Good point. My mind automatically translates "scotch" into "mature single malt."
And this, my friends, is a man of good tastes. ;)

Giving: I don't know yet. Maybe the D&D Basic Game to a young relative.

Getting: I don't know. Possible candidates are Cityscape, Fiendish Codex II, D&D or Rackham miniatures.

Giving: Several board games, packs of Blood War minis for members of the gaming group, Black Dragon for hostess, Monte Cooke's hardcover (name escapes me, darn it) for the DM. I could not bring amyself to give the gargantuan Black to the DM....

Getting: Well, I'll find out on the 25th! But, my wonderful wife is supporting my minis habit with an advent calender of D&D minis! Each morning, there is a new mini or two, or a note hinting where I can find a large one that didn't fit on the calender. :)

I learned D&D from my brother. And he is the ONLY one of my family members who would know what I'm talking about, and buy me D&D stuff.

But he's gay ... so he tries to buy me these "nice clothes" or "creative gifts."

Dammit boy!
Just buy me some D&D stuff!

... I hate him.

Nobody asked for any gaming stuff this year, so I don't think I'm giving any.

I asked for Ptolus, Fiendish Codex 2, and some C&C books.
The only thing I know for sure that I'm getting is Ptolus, because it's a pre-order pack that has been sitting in a box in the closet since August.

I really like the idea of a D&D minis advent calendar! My wife made an advent calendar for me a few years ago after I complained that all the calendars that you could buy just had the same thing in it every day. She normally puts some sort of chocolate, chewing gum or lollies (candy) in it every day. A lot better than the crappy ones from the supermarket but not as good as yours. I'll see if I can convince her for next year. :D

Ptolus has been sitting there since August and you haven't ripped the box open to have a look yet?
