What happened to Karsus and Wulgreth? And other questions about FR-history.

LOVE IT ALL!!!
Thanks for the hint on the box setting of The North, because...I've recently bought that one, but haven't got any time to read it yet.

More information is always greatly appreciated.
Part of my story is that I want to bring Karsus back alive and align him with the Red Wizards, who have found some of the Nether Scrolls.
Another part is that Mystra is going to die (don't know yet how) and that the Simbul along with Elminster take her place.
Third is The Shades that are afraid of Karsus and the Red Wizards, are going to try to lure more cities into the Plane of Shadow.

These are just some thoughts...a clear plot and timeline haven't been figured out yet.
Any hints?

Box set? I have the suppliment for 2e Faerun called "The North", but it wasn't a boxed set. Where did this come from?

I friend of mine borrowed it, so I can't give you any details now. Well, let's see if I can find it on the internet somewhere....:
Look here and look for product 1142 in the Forgotten Realms section. It says: The North Campaign Expansion. It came in a box when I bought it from eBay, along with 3 books, a couple of maps and signs used in the north.

I want to let Mystra die and then the Seven Sisters take her place, all of them controlling one school of magic.
Just one problem, there are 8 schools and only seven sisters :uhoh: . I was thinking of Elminster taking the last place, but it would be cool to have another woman take up the 8th school. Any suggestions?

In the old Lords of Darkness book (1e FR, I believe, or proto-2e), which is a collection of undead-themed adventures, you can find info about a Nether tomb north of Evereska in the Greycloak Hills. Two Nether Scrolls (Increase Intelligence & something about creating a new species) are detailed there.

One copy currently on eBay.

I've got the 3rd edtion Lords of Darkness, but I can't remember reading anything about the Nether Scrolls, so they're probably only mentioned in the older editions. Too bad that guy from eBay won't ship to Europe, so I can't buy it :\

Anyone info in a pdf or something about this matter?

Not just. The Nether scrolls are further detailed in the 3.5e book Lost Empires of Faerun. Frukathka in his post above gives a very good summary. While they are in older products as well, I think the best description of the Nether Scrolls to date are in this book.

Great, thanks! I was planning on buying that book anyway :) .

Any help on the 'Death of Mystra, Seven Sisters take over'-matter?
