What happened?

OOC: nice math manz. ok so you take the tree and are about to lay it down but Latharion wants to scout ahead. whatdo you do? Manz, the tree is heavy!

"Scout ahead? You mean we go first across the tree into the lair? The sad truth is, I'm not much of a sneak. Seat, Siobhan, can these things see in the dark? If so, and we need a light, then we won't be sneaking up on anyone. I say we stay together. I have some torches. Shall we use those? I prefer to use both my hands in combat, though. Maybe someone else could hold them."

Raven isn't at the point of worrying too much about what to do once they cross the pit. She's worried the log won't be easy to balance on, and someone may still fall in. If they lay the log near the edge, then perhaps they could put a hand out against the cliff wall as they walk, helping with their balance.

Siobhan really found the perfect log, 3 foot wide with a flattened rather than round surface. it shouldnt be a chore to get across.(if anyone fails on a DC 5(DC 0 if you put the log at the edge and brace the wall) balance check by taking ten then go ahead and roll if ot i need marching order for going into the cyst. Seat can tell you that, as a rule, abberations have darkvision. This is confirmed as you see darkness within the cyst.

As you cross the log you can tell as much, the log is sturdy and holds under your weight
and the worn path covered in resin and chitin leads into the dark cyst.


Can I get a marching order/ how you are proceeding
