What happened?

The cavern is dark silent and...cavernous. You can hear no footsteps but you can hear the whistling of air throughout the cyst. It is just waiting to be explored. Meanwhile all non-raven, you can see the chitinous forms of the mostly human shaped abberations taken out by stulgar. they are wielding ribbon shaped weapons and suits of resin as armor suits. It is not unlike something out of your worst nightmares.

Raven will light a torch and hand it to Lily to hold. Raven will then sheath her longsword and rely on her handaxe for the journey ahead.

"Latherion & I can still take the lead, wary of traps. Lily & Stulgar can come next. Maybe I can get some healing before we continue." Raven search the body of the slain aberation for treasure before moving on. She'll take 20 on her first search check, and just be wary after that.

Aside from the ribbon dagger, the creatures carried nothing on its person. The ribbon daggers, for whats it's worth look extremely exotic and unwieldy.

Raven continues down the hallway for what seems like an eternity,avoiding several more pits along the way. Then it comes to a fork. She finds a trip wire on the ground as she progresses.

OOC: I am not going to award xp for those subseuent pit/spear traps as they were designed only to really harm a party who was rushing in but else wise give way too much XP. Is that satisfactory?

Raven wipes her brow. It was stressful dealing with these traps. Does the fork go two directions? Can we see anything down either corridor? XPs sound fine.

well, assuming you avoid the trip wire(DC 5 dex check), and roll move silently and hide checks you can find out more but from here. It looks like two tunnel branches and youthink you may see faint hearthfire coming from both tunnels, which

OOC: Don't you have to award XP for them? You can do it whenever you want, but I though you had to since that's the rules?

(OOC: I think that technically it is required if LEB is like LEW (the rule being "DMG standard XP at minimum, adding whatever you like in addition to that", but if you break that rule, I doubt anyone will care. The question is, would we have gotten XP for them if we triggered them all? If so, did disarming them cost us XP? It's an interesting question to consider.)
