What happens to Thundarr's hit points post-rage?

And of course D) temporary hit points.

Or, per the FAQ:
D1) temporary hit points in the False Life pool
D2) temporary hit points in the Aid pool
D3) temporary hit points in the Vampiric Touch pool
D4) ...

-Hyp.

But, as a special case, Bardic Inspire Greatness gives:

A creature inspired with greatness gains 2 bonus Hit Dice (d10s), the commensurate number of temporary hit points (apply the target’s Constitution modifier, if any, to these bonus Hit Dice)

Bonus Con, but it grants "temporary hit points," unlike a Barbarian's rage which does not grant "temporary hit points."

We've made a ruling (rather generous, perhaps) in our game that the hit points from Inspire Greatness are a special case - they are "temporary hit points" that are lost first, but are curable while you have them because they come form the bonus hit dice. Odd, but it works well for us.

I have played and DMed a lot of barbarians, buffers, de-buffers, et al., and lemme say this: if you're playing a barbarian, you would do best to keep track of A and B separately (C is rare, but be prepared to handle it)...

You forgot D) Temporary HP.

We still have one player who tries to track how much HP he has currently (A+B), and it's always a delay when his Con changes... :/

Edit: I should really read the whole thread before responding. Hyp added D) 8 hrs ago... :o
