What happens when a familiar enters an antimagic field?

The title says it all... I just want to know if their is an official ruling on this... I've looked around, but as of yet I have failed in finding anything about it...

Thanks,

Well... their supernatural and spell-like abilities (etc.) stop working. (Duh!)

That would mean that they cannot use the Empathic Link or Scry on Familiar abilities (which are supernatural and spell-like, according to the Tome & Blood).
Share Spells, Touch and Spell Resistance are pretty moot in an anti-magic field.

The rest would all seem to be extraordinary abilities, and thus still functional.

What about the Alertness and the granted special traits (such as the toad's Constitution bonus)? Hit points?

Are any of those considered to be granted supernaturally?

All extraordinary.

Bull:):):):). Where does it say that in the PHB?

Explain to me how getting +2 to Con when the familiar is within one mile, but not when he's more than one mile away, can possibly be "extraordinary" and not supernatural.

That's what I was thinking... the same with Alertness... which has an even shorter range "arms length"... Now the real question is the hit points... do they stay or do they go?

Part of me wants to say they are extraordinary... the other part thinks they are supernatural... Anyone know of an official ruling from the Sage on this?

As an additional note: Do familiars gain Darkvision and Low light vision for being magical beasts? According to the MM all magical beasts gain these traits unless specifically noted otherwise... the PHB does not note otherwise, but perhaps this was an over sight?
