After my setting proposal was rejected in the WotC Setting Search, I was inspired by the ENBoard to put it online anyway - and even develop it further.

(Incidentally, did anything become out of the proposed "ENWorld Setting Search" that was propsed here a few months ago?)

What hasn't EN World done?

Though I'm not yet one of the most prominent posters here, En World has given me an online home, warm clothes, and good nutritious food... well the first one anyway. I'm finally part of a community I can be proud of here. I really treasure the fact that so many prominent creators frequent the boards, and that we're all on equal footing. I feel that EN world is a great cross-section of the D20 community, and it's good to see that a lot of my stranger ideas about gaming are not unique to me. This is a pond of big fish, and though many of us are probably our groups idea of the "ultimate DM" (or player), these forums challenge us to work harder to be creative.

Though I am not a frequent poster I read and digest these boards at least 2-3 hours a day.

I havent met anyone from here yet but that will change this Gencon.

Tons of ideas and rules clarifications.

Even though I dont post enough to get into great conversations with people I feel if I know enough about several of the posters I would call them friends.
