D&D General What if we gave dragonborn four arms?

they should have wings.

those wings need to have limitations.

IE:

you need minimum 15ft of wide space to fly/hover.

you can only lift off with 1/3rd of you carry capacity, that is 5×STR score,
up to 10×STR score with half speed, cannot fly over it.

you can fly only prof bonus×minutes per day.

8+ level feat.
Strong wings,
+1 ASI
your flying now has no limit and carry capacity is now normal.
you are still limited with space for your wings.
Simpler. While flying you take up space as a large creature. If you take damage you must make a con save or fall prone.

At level 5 you no longer have to make saves to avoid falling.

I wouldn’t drink it, but I know some people who would.
You wouldn't drink it. I wouldn't drink it. But I can imagine a Dragonborn would. ;) Ditto for a Dragon. This concoction would pass through a Dragon's and maybe a Dragonborn's gizzard first before hitting their stomach, where it would be boiled (fire), chilled (cold), charged (lightning), acidified even more (acid) or made even more toxic (poison).

Funny enough, I’ve been thinking of greatly expanding the species and their features, along with giving them species specific feats that they can take in addition or general feats to create more mechanically distinct options that can be mixed and matched along side classes for greater options.

For Dragonborns, they would have general species feats and sub-species feats to choose from. Yellow Dragons in my homebrew world have eight limbs instead of the usual six (meaning two wings and six legs). So one of the options for yellow Dragonborns I was considering was allowing some of them to be born with four arms instead of the usual two as a base species feat that can then be added onto as they level up.

So yeah, I am actually cosidering giving at least one type of Dragonborn access to extra arms.
