What is Desert of Desolation and what to expect for figures?

I hope the mummy is a common. I only have the one rare now.
Course by the time this set comes out I will have finished my "The Mummy" campaign

I'm guessing that the Mummy will be an Uncommon this time around. I certainly can't see it as a Rare but I doubt that they would make it a Common.

Very little we haven't already seen in the minis series.

The large monstrous spider is welcome, however. Make it an uncommon.

At the time the first one came out, all large figures were rare, IIRC.

They've done quite a few drow in the C/UC slots, but they don't tend to last long in the singles market.

If you don't mind painting, Reaper has mummy minis cheaper than the Ebay WotC rare mummies.

And I've seen someone paint one in about 45 seconds. Prime white, mix up a brown wash, douse the mini in said wash, let dry. Looked pretty good too...

As for the G Cube, Shoe said last year at Gen Con that it would be released 'next year', but was quick to backtrack after that slipped out (this was outside of the seminar). So, it IS being worked on (with a flat top so you can place the engulfed mini on top of it), but we may not see it right away.

(off topic: I figure my 100th post would have to be about minis...)

That's it. Before Aberrations, every large figure, no matter how weak or badly-detailed, was rare.
