What is Desert of Desolation and what to expect for figures?

Anything for easy to find mummies. Of course, I wish the would put out easy to find Drow soldiers/warriors.

Lolth's Sting, a Common from the Underdark set is probably the easiest way of getting yourself some Drow soldiers. However they are dual wielding and female which may not be what you are after.

Personally I would love to see a Drow wielding a hand crossbow.

And I've seen someone paint one in about 45 seconds. Prime white, mix up a brown wash, douse the mini in said wash, let dry. Looked pretty good too...

I use linen/off white, greenish/ghoul green for exposed flesh, chestnut ink wash for the wrappings, and black ink for he fleshy parts. And a dab of red for the eyes. Works for me!!

The one and only crossbow-wielding drow is the Drow Warrior from Dragoneye:
