What is most YOUR concept of the fantasy ninja?

I found myself thinking about the ninja concept recently as well. After looking into the core rules, I realize that the base rogue class can build a very ninja ninja.

Yep. Using the classes in the Player's Handbook as an example, historical accuracy is about the last thing that should be considered in formulating a D&D class. Does anyone think the twelve peers of Charlemagne could summon horses out of thin air?
