What is the buzz on Blue Rose?

First Post
I have been following the progress of Green Ronins' Blue Rose Romantic Fantasy game.

Is anyone else anticipating this? What is the buzz on this from the gaming world? is it a gigantic nothing?

No, it won't be out till January. The buzz is pretty good, and there has been a few threads on it but they tend to lag as the delays in the book getting printing happened.

By "anticipating," do you mean I'm camping outside of my FLGS waiting for the first copy to arrive? Nope. :p

But I'm keeping my eye out for it.

I'm not sure I'm all that interested in Blue Rose (the preview seemd to be about Talking Animals and how they were crucial to the setting unless I misread), but as far ads GR rocking the world...hell yes.

The Black Company has been taking up my every spare moment with it's awesomeness.

I'm more looking forward to the mechanics than the setting for Blue Rose.

Are you going to write a review of The Black Company, TB? I want to get it, regardless, but I'm curious to see what's in it and what others think about it.

At Gen Con I'll run a game and you can play a talking bunny :p

The non-miniature based combat and feat-and-skill based magic system alone make me want to pick up the game. I'm not sure about the setting, I actually like the Rhydans (psychic animals), it's the elf and orc stand-ins that I'm leery of. :\

My first instinct is to wed the Blue Rose mechanics with the Eberron campaign setting.
