Hey people this is my first post.

anways what is the difference between 3.5 and 4.0...

I will take the question at face value, even though the '4.0' looks. . . well, never mind.

So, in the spirit of good faith and all that, I suggest you look here for 3e, and here for 4e.

At least, it will give you a fair idea. Hope that helps!

The difference is that 3.5 is still dungeons and dragons, and 4.0 is some other totally different game with distinctly similar monsters. It's not a bad game in its own right....but it is NOT D&D.
