Neutral good

Chaotic evil in the IR if you look what they did -.-

Guess all Gnomes have some "Hide AL ability which makes them seem nice and helpfull while they are really plotting to take over the world or destroy it if they can't have it!"

I'd ahve to set aside the "social/anti-social" thing to answer this one. Being chaotic does not mean one is "anti-social" in the standard sense. I suppose that's mostly due to different interpretations of alignment, which is okay.

In general, the gnomish society is lawful good. But, for some odd reason, PC gnomes lean towards NG.

If they were lawful, they'd stay home with the community like good little gnomes.

Only the wild ones end up "adventuring."

Gnomes are chaotic in as much as they wont interfer with you as long as you keep your bignob nose t'ya self gottit matey!

Gnomes are Lawful in as much as they value clan above all else and will cooperate within their clan just like any eusocial hive-dweller will

Gnomes are neutral in as much as they will sit by and watch the world turn around them and then go about enjoying their day regardless of what the bignobs are up to "oh so the Southern Kingdoms are at war with the Northern Slavers? Okay thats nice to hear so hows the fishing in Burrin lately?"

Gnomes are good in as much as they have a live and let live attitude

Gnomes are evil in as much as they will go to extremes to get revenge on anyone who has offended them

Gnomes are enigmatic and their ways too difficult for the human mind to grasp - and thats exactly how gnomes like it:)
