What is your best product? (Publisher Challenge)

E-Opie: I think it's a running gag someone started. And they only do this to newbies I believe.

*thanks DT*

Well there's plenty of stuff for a medium fantasy world. I would definately recommend these books to add to your pleasure:

Monsters Handbook by Fantasy Flight Game. Not only it is a great resource for building your own monsters, it can also help you ADD to existing ones.

Bluffside, City on the Edge. Next to Freeport, probably the best city/port around. It's not just ONE city but SIX in one. Plenty of support! And Hal Greenburg is a great man! (well not really but maybe he'll be happy I said that)

Book of the Righteous by Green Ronin. Best way to find out how to run religions, do new myths, legends, and also add to your existing campagins. (I would also add the Book of Fiends, such as Legions of Hell and Armies of the Abyss to suppliment your monster income)

Tome of Horrors by Necromancer Games. While I have nothing but respect for Atlas Games as well as Liber Beasterius by Eden Studios, at around over 300 monsters (many of them from 2nd edition I might add!) and some really GREAT new ones, you'll find just about everything you need to both reminsce AND enjoy.

Engima of the Arcanexus by Dark Portal Games. While there are NUMEROUS great and good modules out there, I REALLY strongly feel you'll enjoy this one. Next to my setting favorite (The Serpent Amphora by by S&SS for their Scarred Lands Campaign setting), this is true grand.

Oh and if you need a new setting talk to me about the Scarred Lands. :)

Book of the Righteous is the best book we put out last year. It is unusual in that its the product of 10 years of thought, development, and writing though and while I wish I could make that claim for all Green Ronin books, I can't. Book of the Righteous is one of those books (like Delta Green) that comes along but rarely.

If you want to try a Green Ronin book that is more typical of the quality of our releases, I'd recommend either Hammer & Helm: A Guidebook to Dwarves or the Witch's Handbook. Both are excellent sourcebooks that typify Green Ronin's approach to d20.

If you can wait a month, the Avatar's Handbook is another good choice. This one just cleared my desk and it's terrific.

I would have to 2nd the nomination for Monster's Handbook from Fantasy Flight Games. If you want more of a player resource, though, I recommend Path of the Sword.

Of my works, I have to recommend Thee Compleat Librum ov Gar'Udok's Necromantic Artes.

It is a PDF product on RPGnow, and was nominated (right beside the Manual of the Planes by Wizards of the Coast) for the ENnie award for Best Rules Supplement (needless to say we got STOMPED in the voting process).

If you would prefer the print edition, it should be arriving at a store near you shortly under the guise of "Necromancer's Legacy", published by Mystic Eye Games.

(you can click the link to the PDF edition in my .sig)

Wow, I really did not think that this request would find any publishers brave enough to respond.

This almost makes mw want to ask which of your products i should avoid. ;)

Thank you so much for the responses so far, and i look forward to the possibility of even more publisher and writer participation in this thread.

Fiery Dragon

In terms of useful aids, I think we've done a decent job with our Counter Collections and our Counter Packs. It may just be our style of gameplay, but these are the products that we ourselves use every time we play.

In terms of adventures, I'm quite proud of Of Sound Mind written by Piratecat himself, Kevin Kulp. It was nominated for an ENnie, and I think it came *this close* to winning! :) 3rd level characters may possibly be able to survive it! :)

If you do a search through the boards, or just post a general query, you'll get a fairly lengthy and positive feedback session on it.

And someday... Of Sound Mind 2! ;)
