What is your cut off point for MSRP?

So the new minis are something like $14.99 per 8.

I know that there are some good discounts out there.

However, what is your cut off point?

Ditto. :)

I haven't bought a box of minis since War Drums, because "Cheap minis" left the arena at 12.95 for me. These things are now knocking on the door of over 2 dollars apiece for plastic!

At the current price I would rather just buy a couple of metal ones at a time and have someone paint them. Unless it is Large size or larger the price is getting out of hand.

My cutoff was $12.99. I'm done. I'll buy selective singles for RPG but my booster and case buying days are done.
$14.99 is a ridiculous price to me.

For randomized miniatures, my cut off point is $0.00.

For unpainted plastics miniatures, I like to pay around $1.25.
For painted plastic miniatures, I'll pay $2.00 per mini.
For unpainted metal minis, I expect to pay around $3.00 per mini.

These prices are based on the medium-sized creature models. For smaller ones I'll pay less, for larger ones, more, natch.

I stopped buying them at a gamestore when they broke $12 a box. I can still buy online for less but I suspect one more price increase and I am drawing the line. My problem is the randomness factor, I mean, how many hyenas do you really need? I'll probably switch to metal or some of the new set ones coming from Reaper if they look good.

We buy in bulk for the group, about 7 to 9 cases at a time. We've been doing this for quite a while, so we get ours for a shade under $9.50 USD a booster.

Ditto.

Can't wait for the Reaper minis though. I'm perfectly willing to pay if I know what I'm getting.

Random? No thanks. I buy the few DDM's that I need off Ebay for around .50 each.
