What is your favorite non-traditional setting?

I know a lot of people like eberron, and I might like it too if I ever got the chance to read into it a bit. I personally like the dragonmech setting.
What are some other non-traditional, or high-fantasy, settings that you guys enjoy or would recommend?

I really liked Planescape, Dark Sun, and Spelljammer for fantasy. For modern/futuristic settings I like Dawning Star, the Rifts setting, Gamma World setting, and Darwin's World.

I got a chance to play some Spelljammer back in my teens (IIRC ~1992) but I don't remember much about it anymore except that we had a blast with it.

I always liked Spelljammer. There were a couple things about it that were a little silly, but I thought it was neat.

Apparently this has become a Spelljammer nostalgia thread as well. For the record it was also my favourite 2e setting.

Spelljammer doubles as a great litmus test for people's gaming attitudes. If you were a setting-cannon gaming purist...you hated it*. If you liked to play fast and loose with things in the name of fun...you enjoyed it.

*I'm not belittling this kind of play, certain kinds of players enjoy a self-contained narrative consistency that didn't really feature in Spelljammer's design philosophy. To each their own.
