What is your favorite soup?

Also: Next time you eat soup, insist on calling it "sloop" until you've annoyed everyone around you. Continue to do so until you no longer find it funny.

Chowda? Isn't that what Red Sox fans were crying in after the Yankees spanked them the last two times they met? ;)

Chalk me up as another NE Clam Chowder fan, as well as Minestrone.

I like Chunky brand soup when I'm at the house, though it has an annoying tendency to explode all over my microwave unless I strap down the microwave bowl lid with Saran wrap and rubber bands. I'm guessing it's from the high salt content? :p

Chowdah!

Doesn't really matter the parameters -- clam, corn, whatever, just make it chowdah ... and not that Manhattan vague tomato-y soupiness.

'Tain't chowdah if theah's no milk in it.

I love chowdahs of all types. That Manhattan stuff -- it ain't chowdah.

Corn, clam... autumn chowdah is amazing. (Autumn chowdah = potatoes and bacon and carrots in a chowdah.)

Maple butternut squash soup is definitely a favorite too.

Or carrot curry soup. Or pumpkin curry soup. Mmmmmmm...

I made a roasted red pepper and grilled orange soup once. That was interesting.

I love soup - there are very few soups I've met that I didn't like.

I like bisques of all sorts the most (not used in the classical term, but the more modern bastardized usage), I think, but that's only a marginal amount over most other kinds. Chicken soups, vegetable soups, beef soups, french onion, etc.

Hmmm... maybe mushroom (of any sort) might be my favorite. I just don't know!
