Greyhawk. Everything about it just conjures up images of smelly bearded 40 year old RPGA players who play d&d as part of some sort of wacky tournament thing to try to "get more points" than the team across town. Middle age guys who are so dead set in their ways that anything other than Greyhawk becomes "high magic" or "beneath them" even though I've seen RPGA people at cons trading magic items back and forth among characters who aren't even in the same area, not to mention BUYING MAGIC ITEMS STRAIGHT FROM THE BOOK. Then they turn around and bitch about the Forgotten Realms as if there are hordes of ubermages floating around. Get over it guys, Elminster is just one guy, and the Realms is big. Plenty of room for PCs to be "movers and shakers."
There, now that I've insulted half the board, that ought to start a nice big ol' flame war.
