What is YOUR level?

Oh, I hope it was my post in the Audie Murphy threaf that got this idea rolling. ANy way I figure I am this:

I don't think I am any Audie Murphy but at 26 I consider myself a 3rd Expert/1st Bard. That's 4th level. As a human I would get three feats. I figure mine are SKill Focus (Profession: waiter) Skill FOcus (Profession: teacher) and Skill Focus (Perform: Karaoke).

Seeing that I started working in restaraunts at 14, I think 4 levels in 12 years is about right. I imagine my xp will slow down now that I am less adventurous.

I iamgine Iwould have ranks in:

Diplomacy
Sense Motive
Knoweldge (football)
Knowledge ( history)
Perform
Profession: Waiter
Profession: Teacher

I would have some sort of racial or regional penalty that gave huge minuses to wilderness lore and knowledge (nature). I would have a big penalty to listen and spot (atleast without my glasses) also.

By the above standard, I am a Smart 2/Fast 1 Ordinary, although I would point out that I was taking life seriously before I was ten. I understood basic Chemistry when I was eight, I knew the basics of Nuclear Physics, I was adept with computers, and read many books (including various Public Science Journals, the ones for actual Scientists would have been too advanced, and they aren't easy even now).

Damn, now I sound like I'm boasting or something. I don't mean the above like that.

But I will admit my stats aren't great:
Str 8 Dex 14 Con 8 Int 14 Wis 9 Cha 11
And I think I may be being generous on the Strength score. OTOH, my Wisdon score is difficult. I'm aware of my surroundings quite a lot, but I have poor common sense, and...well, traditional Wisdom, really.

My 20 Charisma no doubt contributed to my gaining 10 levels of UNsenet Monk with stunning ease, but my 20 Wisdom prevents me from mentioning it.

According to this I'm a 4th level father.
I would also add proficient in changing diapers and flinging them down the hall into the trash. A special attack maybe?

You fling your kids down the hall?!! And plural. Man, you must have the new 'many shot' feat.

:D

Well, I have about 5,400 xp... enough for 3rd and so close to 4th! I think I might just nip out and find a couple of life threatening encounters... ;)

I suppose that I would be an expert 1 (focusing on biology, chemsitry and psychology), commoner 1 (some building type skills such as craft: gyprocker) and bard 1 (perform styles being acting and GM'ing... hey, it's a valid performance style!).

As for feats... Skill focus (knowledge: biology), Great Fortitude (I can drink people with much higher con scores under the table...) and Skill focus (perform: GM'ing).

Hey This was fun

Don't know if this was supposed to be serious or not but here's mine......

Ok here’s my cut – I am a Military Intelligence Officer with 17 years of service. I am 36 and have been in the army since 1985.

Effective Character Level = 8

Commoner - 2/Warrior-3/Rogue - 2/ Expert (Military Officer) – 2

Beginning Stats: STR14, DEX12, CON14, INT13, WIS13, CHA14

Current Stats*: STR12, DEX10, CON9, INT14, WIS14, CHA15

*Modified to reflect the transition to “middle aged” and a nasty parachuting accident that drained roughly 2 pts of STR, 4 pts of DEX, and 5 pts of CON.

Skills: (breaking the d20 rules for the sake of more accurate reflection) I have ranks in Bluff, Climb, Concentration, Diplomacy, Gather Information, Heal, Hide, Intimidate, Intuit Direction, Jump, Knowledge - (Military, Intelligence, Tactics, Leadership, Logistics, and Training), (Guerilla Warfare), (Nature), Move Silently, Perform – (Briefing, Rally The Troops), Profession- (Soldier, Military Officer), Search, Sense Motive, Speak Language - Russian, Spot, Swim, Use Rope, and Wilderness Lore.

Feats: (breaking the d20 rules for the sake of more accurate reflection) I have Alertness, Exotic Weapon Proficiency- (firearms and demolitions), Improved Initiative, Iron Will, Leadership, Point Blank Shot, Far Shot, Precise Shot, Shot On the Run, Quick Draw, Skill Focus- (All Military Knowledge Skills)

I took the 2 levels of the Commoner class from 1981-1985 (High School), next I took 3 levels of the Warrior Class as I spent my first few years in the infantry assigned as a Scout/Sniper in the 82nd Airborne Division starting at PV1 and making Sergeant from 1985-1990. I took 2 Levels of Rogue, as I spent the next chunk from Sergeant to SSG to SFC in Military Intelligence and Special Operations from 1990-1994. I took a two - year break for ROTC from 1994-1996. Finally, I took two levels of Expert (Military Officer) as I spent from 1996 then until now as a Military Intelligence Officer.

I gave myself a total of 28,600 EXP

200 per year for 21 years = 4200
300 for HS, and 300 each for Wrestling, Football and Track = 1,200

1000 EXP each for the following training:

Basic Combat Training, Infantry Advanced Individual Training, Basic Airborne School, Reconnaissance/Commando Course, Emergency Medical Technician (I), Scout, Reconnaissance, and Surveillance Course, Survival Escape Resistance and Evasion Training, Sniper School, Scout Swimmer Course, Primary Leadership Development Course, Special Forces Qualification Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officers Course, Russian Basic Course, DLI, Signals Intelligence Analyst Course, Advanced Airborne School, Russian Intermediate Training, ROTC Advanced Camp, Military Intelligence Officers Basic Course, Tactical Questioning (Interrogation) and Prisoner Handling Courses, Military Intelligence Officers, Advanced Course, and the Counterintelligence Officers Course.

Total = 21,000

B.A. In History = 1000

Heroic Bonuses = 1,200*

I participated in the invasion of Panama, some special ops in Honduras and Nicaragua, Operations DESERT SHIELD/STORM along with other short trips to Somalia among other hot crappy places.

*I awarded myself 300 points for each operation only since I was not sure if “military engagement” meant each separate instance of taking and returning hostile fire or combat operations in general.

Hmmm, Let's See.

I have excellent hand eye coordination, and yet I constantly injure myself.

That's simply because once out of every 20 tries, you roll a 1. And the Universe uses a critical failure rule...
