Lesse, by Celebrim's system I have just at 6000 xp ('slacked' until about age 25 -- technically I'm still not sure if I take life 'seriously' or not -- , Two degrees, 6 years of 3/4-times-weekly tae-kwon-do, and being 41 is most of it :) -- No heroic encounters); That's what? 4rth level?

Smart(Ordinary)3/Smart1; Str 9, Dex 10, Con 9 (used to be 11), Int 13, Wis 10, Cha 11. HP 11, BAB My Smart Hero talent is Savant: Research. Feats: Brawl.

My level? i dunno... 1st or 2nd level i guess

Umm, lot of different skills

Knowledge: Engineering & Architecture
Jumping
Bluff/intimidate (only with games)
Listen (Only things i want to hear)
Preform (who doesn't have points in this one :P)
and all the usual skills...

Lot of feats:
Run,
Mobility,
Spring "attack", Point blank shot, quick shot, far shot &
shot on the run,
:) but only with basketballs

Str 10, Dex 14, Con 10 (Stamina very high, fortitude very low), Int 14, Wis 8 (I should think before i say things, and i lack any form of intuition), Cha 12

R.

FWIW, I don't think anyone here should be claiming commoner. In a Westernized nation pretty much every has the chance for expert.

Lessee...
3200 -- age
0300 -- high school
0300 -- martial arts training
0300 -- varied self-training in combat
0300 -- high school debate (and getting some trophies)
0300 -- college student gov't
1000 -- BA
0300 -- two minors (maybe being generous here *shrug*)

That's a total of 6000 even.

I'll claim Expert 3/Barbarian 1. I haven't had any life-threaten situations, but I can justify the Barbarian level three ways. 1) I can, and have been known to, fly into a blind rage in a fight. 2) In the fights I've been in, it would be fair to say my style is competant, but... unorthodox. 3) I've never found a melee weapon that didn't feel reasonably "right" in my hand.

Stats:
S 14 (260 bench)
D 14 (people comment on my agility more than my muscle)
C 10 (a little tougher than most, but chronic sinus problems)
I 15 or 18 (144 IQ or top .5%, take your measure)
W 10
Ch 10

Skills of note:
Profession, computer programmer
Knowledge, political science
Knowledge, philosophy
Knowledge, history
Knowledge, chemistry
Diplomacy (I don't have it naturally, but it can be learned)
Tumbling
Language, German
Language, Spanish

Feats:
EWP - Bastard Sword
Improved Unarmed Strike
Educated (I seem to know a lot of trivia)

Edit: Yeah, I know I'm probably in the "overestimates" group, but today hasn't been a great day and I could use the ego trip right now.

According to Celebrim I have ~10000 XP, tho there are a number of things I'd put on that list that weren't there. Frex, does raising a kid count as one of those part-time commitments? :)

I'll take Rog1/War1/Exp3, thank you.

For stats I think I've taken far greater STR & CON penalties since my teen years than a point or two would indicate.

S 9 D 12 C 12 I 17 W 16 Ch 16

I definitely have Weapon Focus: Snowball

Skills naturally are too numerous to mention.

Stats: High STR and Dex, moderate Int and Wis.

I'm a combat monster :D

Male Human Expert 4

Str 05
Seriously a weakling

Dex 12
High hand-eye coordination (15?), but very clumsy (7?).

Con 12
Almost no stamina to speak of (4?), but still good in a sprint. Highly resistant to disease (15?), but when one hits, it hits hard.

Int 19
First off, I am not a statistician, and haven't bothered to verify other people's claims, but based on standard distribution over a bell curve, this is about where I'm at. Gifted from a young age, makes high grades (But see wisdom, below :o), quick learner, fast thinker, and a superb memory.

Wis 06
Dumb as a stump! I think this factors into my clumsiness in my dex score. I am horrible at noticing things, and obvious things escape my grasp. Once taught something, though, I retain it (INT).

Horribly bad (or would that be good...) at procratination, this has brought my grades down about 0.5 GPA points.

Cha 13
Attractiveness: average. I'm shy and stand-offish(7?), but I avoid being rude. I do speak bluntly and truthfully, and some people don't take that too well. I don't brag much, but I firmly oppose modesty (10?), thinking it's just as much a lie of your abilities as boasting is.

Once I get to know someone, though, I am a devoted friend and can be trusted with anything they tell me (14?). I am also pretty good at bluffing and truth-bending (never tell an outright lie, it works better if the truth lies for you ;) (15?).

Skills: 80 pts. (Includes all bonuses. Class skills marked with [c].)
[c] Knowledge (Mathematics*) +16
[c] Knowledge (D&D) +9
[c] Knowledge (Trivia) +11
[c] Knowledge (Physics) +6
[c] Knowledge (Computers) +7
[c] Knowledge (General Studies) +12
[c] Bluff +8
[c] Diplomacy +8
[c] Sense Motive +5
[c] Move Silently +6
[c] Knowledge (History) +8
Handle Animal +3
Perform** +4
Use Magic Device*** +7

*Mathematics, I treat like the Perform skill: one rank for one "specialty." Know(Math[Algebra, Advanced Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Advanced Calculus, Differential Calculus, Geometry])

**Perform[Acting, Singing, Public Speaking(presentations, et al.)]

***In this case, any piece of technology, most of which I can "convince" how to work. Technology, Magic, it's all the same.:)

Feats:
[Human bonus] Education (FRCS). +1 to two Knowledge skills. All knowledge based skills are class skills
[1st level] Cosmopolitan (FRCS) [mathematics]. Choose one non-exclusive cross-class skill, and it is now class skill, and +2 bonus on it.
[3rd level] Skill Focus [mathematics]: +2 bonus on Knowledge(Mathematics) checks.

HP: 12 (rolled low, no max hp at first level).
AC: 11 (+1 Dex)
Fort: +5. Ref: +2 Will: -1. (note: swapped fort/will saves for expert.)
Melee Attack Bonus: +0 (unarmed strike, 1d3-3 subdual
Ranged Attack Bonus: +4 (1pt subdual, rubber band. 1d4, dagger.)

Initiative: +1 (dex)
Speed: 20ft (arthritis runs in the family, my bones ache at 19 yrs old.)

*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/
Over the top in some areas? Little bit low in others? Maybe, but this is how I view myself.

Bugger. Should have thought of that one for myself. Darn it, I need one more feat, but I am only 3rd level! (still no life-threatening encounters... I don't know... adventures these days seem to involve only buying milk...)

As for my claim of 1st level bard and the magickal abilities that go with it... well, religious debate is verboten on these boards so lets not go there, ok? :)

And how to determine one's stats? If I had access to a gym, I could find out STR easy enough (maximum lift, for me pretty bad). Intelligence could I suppose be figured out by comparing the SD's of an IQ test with a 3d6 bell curve to figure out what IQ = what INT, but as for the rest???
