There's one place about 30 minutes away (my now ex-comics shop since I decided to stop reading them). Selection is scant if it's not d20, besides a few expansions for Zombies! I picked up most of gaming from them when they were a dealer at local con. The other shop is another 20 minutes away and actually has a pretty decent discount section.

Of course, neither store has been able to fulfill by eclectic orders and pre-orders. When it takes more than two weeks to meet your distributor's minimum, you're not exactly dedicated to gaming.

Even if I go down to visit my old stomping grounds around my mom's place, the selection is even more pathetic, even with four or five shops in the area.

There's a reason why I ordered my copy of Aces and Eights from Kenzer directly...

I'm a bad boy. I have a couple in town but I haven't visited them in ages. I have been buying more PDFs, for one thing, and I haven't been on a WotC shopping spree in a good long time. I also buy online.

Ditto.

Well, sort of, I guess. There are stores which sells comics, but there might be just one like true game store. I went to several of the stores in the area one day (I've only been in Tulsa since March). There's one that's got a really great selection. But, he sells his books at MSRP. Sorry. I don't like paying MSRP for books when so many stores offer discounts on them. I did buy a book from him at a Meetup event though, since I decided I was kind of glad he was there. :heh: Turns out, Amazon wasn't much cheaper on it anyway, so it was all good.

I just wish he sold single miniatures. I buy those by the fistfull. His loss.
