I am going to post a poll about what kind of adventures you would like see for 5th edition.

Personally I would rather see more short term adventures than these long term AP's we keep getting.

Long term AP's are great an all but I think the short term adventures would be better for a lot of people because they allow groups to finish up and be on to another adventure relatively easy and quick.

I've found that a lot of players I know get bored with AP's, especially long ones. The only AP that I've found that players really like is the Kingmaker one from Paizo.

I honestly believe Wizards needs to up the game here and come out with some short term adventures.

Really creative location-based adventures for a spread of levels that can be easily inserted into any campaign. The kind of challenging adventure locales that people will play and then talk about with other people who played them to compare notes. "How did you guys deal with the throne made of skulls? Oh, I wish we would have thought of that!"

I agree with Iserith, but I think there is a market for both shorter adventures and longer adventure paths or campaigns, especially if the short ones are PDFs. Until recently, I never bought or used any AP. But, after buying some, using one and mining the others for ideas, I'm beginning to see their value.

In any case, I'd like a variety of styles (high magic even weird, gritty, wilderness, dungeon crawl, political intrigue, etc.).

I want adventures that don't force me to revise major portions of my campaign's history. Site-based adventures that have moderately flexible timelines for their history, that don't require strange events and major wars and specific planes to exist in specific ways, etc...

A healthy dose of both.

Love AP's for what they are, but good individual adventures even short ones like from Dungeon magazine are great for using to spice things up in an ongoing campaign or to just take ideas from.

Now that I do most if not all my gaming on Roll20 I like colorful grid maps for all major encounters, in case any publishers are reading this. Please include individual image files for your handouts and maps with your digital products.

I want Forgotten Realms adventures, set in the 1300s.

I want Dragonlance adventures set shortly after the Legends trilogy.

I want Ravenloft adventures, including an AP where the whole party is sucked into the Domains of Dread and gives a long path to actually getting back home successfully.

I want a Planescape meta-adventure that spans several planes and settings.

Traditional adventures. I don't mind a long adventure path, because I can always edit out anything I don't like. It's nice to see a lot of extra material at my disposal in any case. I want to see traditional characters, monsters, and scenarios, though.

The only adventures I use are short ones. I dont like AP's - except to steal the best bits from them. I'd be happiest if AP's didnt exist - writers could put their talents to more useful short adventures and players could experience more sandboxish freedom in their campaigns.
