What kind of player are you

I went with Psychodrama.

I play for total character immersion. In solo play I have as much fun roleplaying normal life things with the character as I do combat and story driven roleplaying. Given it is another system, but I have a character I've played for 15 years*, and can easily see another 15 or more of play left in her. I like to learns the ins and outs of the character, and see what kind of reactions I get while playing in different circumstances, and what kind of impact things have on their personalities, goals and motivations.

I voted psychodrama, because I love seeing how my characters react to the world, but story and exploration are big parts of it.

That's not to say I don't like kicking butt (I'm currently playing a tank for the first time, and man does it feel good to get a x3 critical against a BBEG!), but I like exploring the story, environment, and my character more.

Edit: This question reminded me of a test our last DM asked us to take a while ago that determines what kind of RPG player you are. I scored as mostly storyteller and character player.

As it is, I put "accumulating cool powers" as my vote- it's prolly what I like best in a game as a player, but there are a lot of other answers that really apply too.

I chose irresponsablity, not because I am a particularly destructive player but that my primary reason for playing is to have a period of time when I can be someone else. It's not story becuase I don't really care what happens in the long run and it's nor psychodrama because I have no need to explore my characters pyche and more than I do in the course of my game. It's just a desire to be someone else and have different limits and abilities than I do.

*Everyone* in my group is at least partially an Outlier. We have a collective love of dysfunctional, quirky characters, and whenever the DM asks, "So, would you guys prefer X or Y?" the answer is almost always along the lines of, "Which would be funnier/weirder?"

Aside from that, I would say I personally also like Brilliant Planning, Puzzle Solving, and Story (all of which speak to my love of adventure games); and Psychodrama (if you're going to have a dysfunctional character, might as well have fun exploring how they tick...).

My main focus in playing is the role playing aspect of the game. I don't care what race/class/position I play.... and I usually end up filling out the party with whatever is needed... However, I like to take that role, and I usually find a new and distinct personality for him/her to play.

FYI, your color choice doesn't show up very well on most of the skins for ENWorld without changing monitor settings away from the standard.

I'd like each of those options to be on a 1-10 scale, or at least have multiple options chooseable; the type of player I am changes session by session depending on my mood.

Some nights all I want the game to consist of is blood-bathed combat.
Some nights I'm feeling more greedy; if there's no good loot in the dungeon I'll just steal it from my party, so there'd better be some good loot.
Some nights I want to be on a stage and role-play, over the top on occasion.
Some nights I can get deep into planning and tactics and strategy.
Some nights I just want to laugh.
Most nights, though, I'd say "irresponsible" would sum me up...but that choice is itself made up of about 6 others, so I still can't really vote.
