What level are Batman & Superman?

I'd say Kryptonian is a LA +20 race with DR 30/magic or kryptonite and fists that function as Adamantine for bypassing DR/hardness. I'd put Clark Kent as an Exalted Commoner 1 (rural background) / Expert 5 (journalist) / Fighter X (once he gets experience).

Bruce Wayne I'd put as an Urban Ranger 10/Rogue 10 or some other CR 20 combination. In d20 Modern I'd be tempted to stat him as Dedicated/Fast/Smart/Infiltrator/Martial Artist.

Magic has been a weakness of Superman's. He isn't vulnerable but neither is he so super against that type of villian. Then again his mind and sense of justice are his most important powers against these types of villians.

When 3.0 came out I created an adventure for conversion use called "The Adventurers"

Using Marvel Heroclix I recreated the Avengers using DnD rules.

Thor= CR 24
Hulk = CR 21

where Black Widow = CR 13
Hawkeye = CR 15

Ultron = CR25

So, thinking about the entire balance thing with a game....

Superman = CR 25-27
Batman = CR 18-20

Batman: a gestalted rokugan ninja/courtier with great stats.
-Full bab
-SA
-Ninja dodge
-Nearly every skill is a class skill, and the versatile feats puts a dent in those that aren't.
-8+int skill points per level available
-The courtiers rumor ability could be used in all the venues (criminal, politic, corporate, etc)
-Every other courtier ability fits Bruce Wayne the civilian perfectly
-Poison use (he's used various chemicals on the bad guys)
-Increased land speed
-Int as well as dex to initiative

Definitely see him taking IUC and it's improved version in Bo9S.

Can't wear anything heavier than light armor without losing his ninja abilities, but the rare times he did he wasn't using them (Batman vs Predator comes to mind).

Doesn't need access to every ability or feat. With his level, stats, and skills he could easily overcome most penalties.

After 52, Superman has Int of 18, can use any Knowledge check untrained, and gains a +10 bonus on Knowledge checks to recall a specific piece of information.

If I had to stat Batman as a D&D character, I'd go for Urban Ranger 10 (thrown weapon style, spell-less CW variant, Distracting Strike variant) / Monk 5 (Devastating Strike option, has the Ascetic Hunter feat) / Dread Commando 5. His stats would have to be something like Str 16, Dex 20 (raised from 17 at levels 4, 8 and 12), Con 18, Int 18, Wis 18 (raised from 16 at levels 16 and 20) and Cha 18. For the record, Nightwing has Dex 21 (raised from 18 at levels 4, 8 and 12).
