I'm not exactly sure why my results would be different, but it seemed that the vast majority of responders in my poll were in the first two catagories (Low-Low & Low-Medium). In your current poll there seem to be a lot more High level characters for some reason.

Actually, for all the time 3E has been around I think a couple months don't make that much difference. But it is one subtle point.

Another is that you defined your levels slightly lower than I did - I went for Low (1-6), Medium (7-12), High (13-19), Epic (20+) which jams it all into 3 categories. I hesitate to speculate on why there might be a concentration of people at 11th & 12th levels, but it could happen. ;-)

Also, your poll was simpler. You got a lot more responses in a quick time than I did. I'm sure that shows some skewing effect, but I'm not going to speculate on that one either.

Isn't polling fun though? ;-)

The current game has an avrage level of 5or 6, it's a d20 Modern game loosely based on the anime Full Metal Panic.

Level 30 in a messed up world. Strangely enough, my character is the main plot device and has some...special advantages/disadvantages.

As per using the ELH, we are using it. Personally, I have a laundry list of problems with it. Honestly I think the epic level rules were poorly done, and fewer people want to use that system.
