What Level would you give these spells?

I need to enchance the Contagion spells for some clerics who worship a god of plagues. What level would you make the spell if the only change were that the spell were -

1: A ranged spell. (100ft + 10ft per caster level)

2. Same range as above but with an area of effect. (30ft radius)

3. No Range, but an area effect spell which is centered upon the caster. One might call it a Globe of Plagues. Anyone coming within 10ft of the caster must save vs the spell.

Finally, a spell which is not plague related. What level would you rank a spell that was the exact opposite of Tongues? The target would save, or only speak uncomprehendable giberish. The victim could not communicate verbally to allies for the duration of the spell, and could not cast spells with verbal components.

I'm just trying to give some more potency to a Temple of Plagues and Chaos. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Let me hazard a guess:

1. I am tempted to say 5th level.

2. There is a spell in BoVD called pox, which is 6th level and, while similar, it is definitely weaker than this, so 7th level.

3. 5th level.

4. This is weaker than silence, which is an area spell, so 1st level. If you make the duration permanent, like blindness/deafness, it goes up to 2nd level (but barely).

1. So, with just the range, I'd say 5th.
2. See Scourge from Defenders of the Faith. Pretty much the same, 7th level.
3. Globe of Plague? So they must come to me or I must get close to them? 4th Cleric, 5th Arcane
4. I agree with 2nd level ro first, depending on effect variables.
