What magic item would you want in real life?

There was a piece on PRI's (often confused for NPR) this American Life, about giving the people the choice of if they could fly or turn invisible which would they choose. The person conducting the survey found that everyone wanted to say flying, but that in their heart of hearts everyone wants to be invisible. Did anyone else hear that it was extremely interesting.

Thinking better, how much would a ring of wishes 1/round with unlimited uses cost?

If I recall correctly, it's too powerful to be made, at least all at one time. For unlimited uses, I believe you have to pay for 50 castings of the spell. For Wish, IIRC, it's 5,000 XP per casting. That means you'd need 250,000 XP. BUT you can never use so much XP that you'd lose a level, meaning you'd have to be about 250th level to do it all at one time.

Now, a ring that allows you to do one wish per day, that might be do-able.
