I was serious about the uranium dragon. (Or I guess for Medievalism, the pitchblende dragon)

A dragon that poisons and corrupts the very ground it walks on, with radiation and mutation themed abilities, would be pretty cool.

PS: I really like the idea of Mercury dragons. They're based on a classical element, they evoke unusual abilities (madness, amorphism, speed), they fill a niche not currently served by other dragons. Compare to Adamantine, the dragon that's essentially (and merely) even MORE tough than the iron dragon.

The T-1000 dragon!

Edit: Dangit, this was actually VirgilCaine. Freakin' cookies...

I voted for the traditional set because I see no reason to change it.
Why are alloys such of a problem? After all teh dragons are not made out of mettal, they only look like one.

I don't use dragons very much in my homebrew, but I would find two types of 'good' dragon useful. One as a serious, possibly rather pompous, dragon; the other rather more of a trouble-maker. I voted for silver and mercury, but several of the others would fit the bill.

The other thing I would like is at least one of the gem dragons to make it, but I don't think that's going to happen. :\

Of course with Bahamut and Tiamat in the pantheon, chromatic and metallic dragons will more than likely still be with us unless they radically change their history, then there would be no need for chromatic and metallic dragons.
I really liked the idea of the gem dragons when they first were introduced, neutral dragons.
Not wild on the idea of elemental dragons, 4E is getting a little element happy as it is, archons, demons, giants and flumphs. Oh my!
And that's not including plain elementals!

I'll take D) None of the above, Alex.

I prefer having five types of dragon, the chromatics, and some chromatics are good and some are neutral and all-too-often they are evil (or at least don't regard tiny little two legged things that runs screaming when the show up as 'people'). An ancient bestiary of dubious provenance lists eight 'true dragons,' adding to the generally accepted Flame, Storm, Rot, Winter and Song, unknown dragons of Sun, Mist and Shadow.

"Song"? Do your greens have a sonic breath weapon, then? Not a bad idea, really...
