I do like the ones mentioned.

I also like:

The Pit of Loch Durnan

Orcfest (esp. if good for a new DM giving a shot)

Against the Cult of the Reptile God

Treasure Hunt

Of Sound Mind!!!! Without a doubt, it is my favorite D&D adventure of all time. It was an absolute pleasure to run, and from what I've gathered from my players at the EN chicago gameday 2, they all sorta liked it too! :D

/me tags you all and runs away laughing now you are all infected by this virulent disease strain of GNomology!!!!!!!! Whahaa!!

Piratecat, you too shall join our small fat bignosed ranks!

/me thinks of starting his own industrial revolution :p

Since I started a nautical campaign within the Sea of Fallen Stars I used the little start-up adventure within the "Pirates of the Fallen Stars" 2e sourcebook. It is a brilliant opening for any nautical campaign.

Also I like the challenge of champions modules within Dungeon since they are a good starting point for characters to get to know each other.

for very new players:

N4 Treasure Hunt or the 0lvl character creation stuff from the Greyhawk Adventures hardback.

for exp. players starting a new campaign:

B1 In Search of the Unknown

for exp players/DM who may have played previous adventures:

Sunless Citadel or Freeport series
