I must say that I find your poll selections very limited. I find NeMoren's Vault (with toned down treasure) a good campaign starter, as well as Of Sound Mind.

Well, yes I agree the choice is limited. But a comprehensive poll would have been impossible. I did mean to include Of Sound Mind. Otherwise, I based it on stuff I have.

What is NeMoren's Vault?

If you like starting campaigns with B2, you might think about using B2: Little Keep on the Borderlands. It's written for HackMaster, but converting to 3e should be the same as for the original B2. Little Keep is sort of a misnomer as it is about 5x the size of the original with massively expanded dungeon areas and a completely detailed and fleshed-out keep (if you're into roleplaying opps vs. rollplaying opps -- for those, hop on over to the "Mines of Chaos")

Good heavens! You're expecting us to choose *one*? They're all good, and I'd consider starting my campaign with any one of those.

I chose Wizard's Amulet/Crucible of Freya simply because it's the first one that popped into my head. Honorable mention goes to U1-3 and Keep on the Borderlands.

I agree 100%

Remember the original Isle of Dread ? I played in a campaign run by my high school latin teacher (how much of a geek am I?) based on that. If I recall it was written for Basic D&D but he converted it to AD&D... I still remember the intelligent flying squirrels fondly, can't quite remember the name of those creatures though...

whispering woodwind... it is low level, but scalable and will push a group of players towards being a party very well

and check out what I did over there :)

alsi "pimpin the creative mountian" h2o

sorry for channelling hong there...

I bought the Whispering Woodwind for my first campaign. I haven't actually run it yet (still working on setting up dates and such for the campaign) but I've heard really good things about it. Infact, I first heard about it through a thread I think you posted on. :)

Phanatons or Phaeton, I can't remember which.
