I voted:

Construct, Fey, Giant, Ooze, Plant

(Though this doesn't guarantee I'll buy any book that concentrates on these monsters - I have enough monsters as it is right now, and my purchases tend towards other subjects these days.)

Fey, because they are underrepresented and have great potential and flavour. Of course I think part of the problem is that with Wizard BAB its hard to make enemy fey as anything but magic users..

Outsiders, but not neccesarilly more demons and devils, although I like them to (once I tweak them a bit...I dont like fiends as physical being/soul all in one). I would really like to see more "Outsiders" that are simply very different, very strange creatures from elswhere, without neccesarily a lot of explanation.

Plants: Much the same as Fey. I'd especially like to see more intelligent or semi intelligent plants, both good and bad.

Abberations, because I'm a Lovecraft fan and I'd love to see more such things running around. Its just a nifty creature type, so much variety and potential.

Magical beasts: Much the same thing again. It'd be especially interesting to see more highly intelligent magical beasts.

See ragewalker (MMIII) or siabrie for ways around that.

I never cared much for aberration as a type...until Lords of Madness, that is. Now I really like 'em. :)

Yea I know. and redcap, sort of with their high Str and "muscular build" thingy. I just think I may have issues with all creatures of a certain type having the same BAB etc. Some times it might be easier to just give a creature a special ability that amounts to having a different BAB or other statistic.

Another installment in my ongoing "compare the polls" series...

In the "I have more monsters than I will ever need" category, 11% of respondents felt all monster types had already been done to death, yet 17% would still like to see more of them.

On the other hand, in the "I love em all" category, 21% felt that all monster types had already been done to death, but only 10% would like to see more of them.

Huh?

Hail Eris!

Interesting. I see I am not the only one that feels fey are underserved.

Thank you Keith Baker and R. Scott Kennan. :)
