What monsters do you want to see in Dragon magazine?

Phycomids, I don't think they've been seen anywhere since the new edition started. I miss those goofy bastards.

The yellow dragon, not the salt dragon in the Dragon Compendium vol. 1, just the normal yellow dragon from 2E's Monstrous Manual.

The quasar, I don't think those constructs that turned stag on their celestial creators in Planescape have been seen since.

Quesar can be found in BoED. :) they may or may not accept the FR yellow dragon, what with a different yellow dragon being in Dragon Compendium 1. :) and, lastly, Phycomid was in Dragon #337.

B'oh! Oh well, at least two out of three of those guys are already converted. I do think the yellow dragon is at least worth a shot though.

Kercpa (b/c I once had a player play one and he lives on in legend ;))
Thouls would be cool.
And Beastmen, but with a better name.
But my all time fav has always been kech. (Not the horrid illo from 2e, but the one from 1e MM2).

Sorry I broke the rule of three. Cut the thoul. That really is a dumb idea - basically any critter can be a ghoul. I just said that b/c I remember playing a cool scenario from Dragon mag with them).

I'll let you know after I see Dragon 339. ;)
Well thanks to Pure Puppet, we know what's in the article.

The next article is entitled Creature Catalog Four: Campaign Classics. From Greyhawk, we have the Animus Template, the Blindheim - tiny frog-men that worship Slaads - the Greyhawk Dragon, with a sample Young Adult stat block, the Suel Lich - an incorporeal undead that possess living bodies, and the xvart. From Ravenloft, we have the carrionette, the death's head tree, the goblyn, and the Maggot Golem. From Mystara, we have Dusanu, an undead-like plant, the Nagpa template, and the Phanaton, which seems to be the union of a raccoon and a flying monkey.
So make my three:-
Pegataur
Feywing
Rakasta - although Dragon doesn't seem to like animal heads at the moment :(

Phanaton (as we now know) are in Dragon #339, so you may choose another to replace them. :)

beastmen, to my understanding, have been done already. so i will take kercpa, thoul, and kech as your choices. :)

rakasta have already been nominated - see above. ;) and if they don't like animal heads, why use the phanaton? :)

The rakasta rate right up there with ghazneths and sheens as the creatures I see most requested on the various D&D boards. Eventually, WOTC is gonna need to listen to its fan base and update these critters. :)
