Hm, I'll go with more true dragons for my other two, just because I have them on the brain lately due to that other thread. I'll vote for the mithral dragon, and the electrum dragon.

where can i find the mithril dragon?

Did I not post a big long list over in that other thread that had a listing of all true dragons and their sources? :p

Mithral Dragon (Practical Planetology)

Ironically enough though, I'd like to change my last request - if I'm going to nominate a Spelljammer dragon it should be one more archetypal to the setting. As such, instead of the Mithral dragon, I'd like to opt for the Radiant dragon.

My one caveat there is that it be billed as the Celestial dragon instead; that's already a variant name for it in its listing, so that's no problem. The reason for that is because there's already a Radiant dragon in the Draconomicon already. Having it be listed with a different name'd just work better for everyone.

1E Bag of devouring monster, Behemoths, Leviathan worms

If these are all too high CR, pick through what went through my brain below...

Soul Eater get done yet? {I strongly suggest Charisma damage/drain rather than the original Dasic/2e Wisdom damage/drain.] Aragat. Mystara's versions of gem dragons would be cool, though difficult. Non-epic Brain collecter. Gorbels. Toned down feinds that impersonate stronger breeds? The Weird Mystara living statues, dark hoods, grep philoficers[sp], sacrol, and wryds?

Behemoths
[quadrapedal brutes that operate like mini tarrasques] are a bit of a hole in D&D monster line, like this critter .http://paizo.com/image/product/magazine_issue/dragon/81/cover_500.jpg

Oh, the giant worm type Leviathans would be cool. Heck a lot more of the worm critters woud be cool, Blood, caecillia, slime, red, fyrsnaca. Maybe a weakish 1HD ambushing worm with a big set of fangs. Polyroaches, acid pidgeons, skullcap ivy, lich ooze & worrywarts would make fun icky monster/hazards/upgrades.

Did wotc ever release the silt horrors?{they had art, but IIRC they got skipped in one Book.

Huptzeen [Magic items with spellcasting levels] would be nice. But even better would be the critter at the other end of the bag of devouring. Not the patheticly weak 2e one, but the brutal, dissolve you in one round 1e dragon magazine version.

Ever though about making monsters with poisons that cause status defects? Inital: slow Seconday: Petrify. Or represent going numb with entangle penaties?

not sure which one you mean by 1E bag of devouring monster - there are at least a couple that i can think of. creeping pit, and then ihagnim, both from older "Creature Catalog" articles in Dragon mags for example.

so noted. :D are the behemoth and leviathan worm from OD&D/Mystara? (too lazy to look up at the moment). ;)

Don't think the behemoth is OD&D/Mystara but the leviathan is - there are two a marine leviathan and a land leviathan.
