What new d20 stuff came out the past two months?

Not my fault about the scythe falcon familiar! ;) But hey at least you can get a monkey familiar now. I will agree they could have add some more new art to CC Revised.
Wasn't a comment on that. That was just one little entry that I felt was out of place. The book as a whole just wasn't as useful for me as I'd hoped or expected. Probably because of how strongly it seems to be tied to the Scarred Lands setting.

Today I built a Sorcerer and a Bard, and I didn't find myself consulting it as much as I'd hoped to. I found myself looking, and then looking in my other books.

FULMINATA, huh? Never heard of it or the publisher. Sounds like something no store would carry... guess I'll hunt for it online.

It's actually FVLMINATA and I highly recommend it for a Roman-flavored campaign. The D20 version is not out - and will not be for the foreseeable future it seems. GMS has the rights to produce it, but his company Ambient has pushed back production at least twice IIRC.

Hmm. Checked out FVLMINATA and it looks pretty cool at first glance. Downloaded the free sampler, so I'll read up. Thanks very much for the info on it!

Already got plenty merc info in AEG's MERCENARIES and WOTC'S A&EG. MERCENARIES: BORN OF BLOOD looked okay, but too expensive to take a chance on; don't need merc material, esp. when parts of that book are non-fantasy oriented. I guess I thought the PGs were too tied into the SL setting and just too weird or unusable for my game. The art didn't do much for me either. I haven't found much SL stuff to be worth buying so far, though CC2 had some good stuff in it and I liked Secrets & Societies, though it's never seen any use (nice cover art, though!).

Yeah well I think if you get past some of the ties to the Scarred Lands, there is plenty in PG: fighters and barbarians to be used else where.

Cry Havoc? Is that out? What about Fields of Blood?

Yes Cry Havoc is out in PDF...and will be out shortly in print. Field of Blood...haven't see it. Doubt we ever will.

Understandable arc. Though I felt the stuff on using epics to use various spells and bardic abilities was very nicely done. Plus sorcerous pacts. But to each his own.
