What non-d20 books do you have at your gaming table?

I use a fair amount of fantasy art from here and there, but I usually scan and print rather than actually bringing the books to the table.

I also do a lot of research into history, anthropology, linguistics, etc. that I do because I enjoy it, but I also apply to my gaming. But--again--that doesn't mean I'm literally bringing the books to the table.

I normally have comicbooks laying around along with the Wizard magazine. For game use I have all my Darksun and Forgotten Realm 2.0 stuff within reach and the computer is unlimited. I have been known to use Wiz Kids figures of MageKnight and Hero Clix within the game.

If we're talking just when playing D&D, yes. If we're talking gaming in general, yes.

In the now rare instance that we play D&D, our campaign is set in the Realms; I certainly use past edition products, since there's such a wealth of information to be found there.

When playing C&C, I make it a point to draw from all editions, but especially the products of the past.

We play Traveller: the New Era. At some point, we will probably try out Warhammer 2e and Lejendary Adventure.

As far as non-gaming books (history and art book primarily), I don't really use them at the table, but will draw on them when world-building or planning an adventure once in a while.

For my own Dragonlance games, I'll use not only current edition DL products, but ones from prior editions as well (though mostly the Sovereign Press books). I am incorporating some things from the Castles and Crusades PHB and Monsters and Treasures books as I go along.

When I played Heroes of Rokugan, I would bring my 2e L5R player's guide. If I play it some more after the relaunch, then I'll bring the new 3e book.

A trend I notice in my own gaming, related to DL above, is that if I'm running a setting, I'll use books from any edition for the setting. For example, if I were to run Star Wars, I'd be using both the d20 and d6 books, and maybe even some sourcebooks that aren't gaming related as well.

Eh...the only books I used tend to be the core books, despite the large number of other pruchases I have made. I have no use for books that are not compatible with d20.

When running D&D, no. When running other d20 games, maybe. When I was running a quickie conversion of Rifts, I had the RMB, and WB 1 handy. Pretty soon, I'm going to run a d20 Modern game using Anger of Angels, and I plan on keeping my copy of Rapture: The Second Coming handy for some of the ideas in it. When I finish my Shadowrun d20 conversion and run, I'll have the SR books very close, since my conversion will just have the actual changes listed.

Last session I used the following non d20 books for my ongoing Campaign.

Grimtooth's traps ate
description and information on Sri Raji from "Web of Illusion" Ravenloft Adventure (2nd ed.)
A picture of the Pteraman from the Forgotten Realms Chult adventure (2nd Ed.)
