• NOW LIVE! Into the Woods--new character species, eerie monsters, and haunting villains to populate the woodlands of your D&D games.

What non-RPG stuff do you collect?

CDs - mostly classic rock, alternative "90s grunge" and alternative adult, some techno.

DVDs. Mostly scifi and fantasy, which is to be expected.

Star Wars action figures - not as much lately as before episode II. I have managed to get my hands on every classic trilogy Boba Fett figure released since the 300th edition figure.

Anything Babylon 5, except for the action figures. They were too large.

Computer games. I just recently added Neverwinter Nights - Hordes of the Underdark, and the Temple of Elemental Evil to my collection.

I *used* to collect CDs (but then again, I used to be a DJ.)

We collect masks. We have a nice collection of masks from around the world.

I used to collect Magic: the Gathering cards until the Urza saga. I have about 8 of those card boxes with four rows per box.

I've recently started collecting plants around my computer desk. The keynote of the collection is an Alloe plant that we bought three years ago... a little guy in a little pot. Well, he fell over once and had to be repotted. Now he is well over 4 feet tall and resides in a large stone pot on my computer desk. He was my inspiration when writing the Mind Flayers book for Paradigm Concepts. We call him Burroughs - after both William S. Burroughs (a strange creature that helps me attain immortality through the written word? :) ) and Edgar Rice Burroughs (It could easily be a deadly plant from Mars, or a huge plant from the jungles of Tarzan). Over the past two years, Burroughs has sprouted out four 'children'. We have named them "Tarzan", "Mugwump", "Jane" and "Joan Vollmer".

But honestly, the only thing I collect in SERIOUS amounts are RPGs. I have about 150 RPGs in total in my collection - and massive collections of some game systems.

Ditto.

I have FOUR 5 shelf bookcases FILLED with RPGs and accessories....

the miniatures are in their own painting area.

Echoing Hellhound, the only thing I'm serious about are RPGs. That said, some things I have a potentially unhealthy interest, and buy whenever possible:

Swords and Knives
Transformers (mostly Gen1 stuff or the reissues)
Legos (doing the Star Wars and Bionicles right now)
Books (still have all my old college texts)

One more thing I completely forgot - Cyberpunk novels. Anything VAGUELY cyberpunk and odds are I have it or am looking for it.

DVDs....books...action figures(mostly Star Wars and LotR, but if I see something obscure and interesting I'll grab it)...Mobile Suit Gundam models(imports only, thank you)...hmm, not much else. *sigh* If only there were Discworld figures...

Apparently, I collect bills. I didn't really want to, but they just keep coming. Other things I didn't want to collect are small dancing knicknacks. I got 2, count em, 2 dancing hamsters for Christmas. They are going up in the closet with the previous year's hamster and the Christmas cactus that beeps out "Feliz Navidad." My love life is currently collecting dust. And the cats are collecting all the day's madness into one wild rush around the house while I'm trying to sleep.
