I've been looking at my site logs to see what people were downloading, and I admit that the results surprised me: there are more downloads of "building blocks" (i.e. data) and DM utilities, than player utilities (i.e. HTML SRD).

Here's a sample:

XML and MySQL data: 789 downloads/month
NPC Generation: 660 downloads/month
HTML/CHM SRD: 378 downloads/month
XP Calculation: 243 downloads/month
Epic Spell Design: 111 downloads/month

Interesting how "low-level" stuff is more popular than player stuff. Perhaps because it is harder to find? Or this is my site's reputation?

I'd like to see what other webmasters are seeing?

PS: No, this is not a cheap attempt at advertising. My stuff is free, I have no ads, and I pay for my bandwidth (18 GB/month), thank you. So there ya go. :)

I don't have "data" persay like you do but I do have 2 online generators and then NPC Designer. So keeping that mind...

Intelligent Item Generator: Last week did over 7300 new creations
Potion Generator: (Always has been a crowd favorate) 11,100 new creations

NPC Designer Full Install has been downloaded 192 times over the last week
NPC Designer Update has been downloaded 301 times over the last week.
(Keep in mind, NPC Designer only went into beta on June 15th, 2005)
Scripts:
Half Dragon is the clear winner there with over 100 downloads.

Like you, everything is for free at this point and I pay for it all. I also noticed something as well, the generator that took me the least amount of time is the most loved. If I learned anything from that, was that if you add some personality to a generator it seems to be enjoyed much more.

Ah, you finally released it. Congrats! :)

I can't find the link to it, however... How can I download?

It is in beta at the moment.. So this may seem like a strange way of thinking..

Beta usually means feedback is desired, so in order to leave feedback.. Need to be a registered user.

Once you are a registered user, just go to the NPC Designer forum where you can catch up on all the latest information and links to the latest releases and updates.

You can also visit the Script Mod forum where users have already started creating new scripts to work with the system. The list grows everyday it seems.

Long story short:
register -> NPC Designer Forum - Latest release is 0.2.42

I usually update every day, sometimes a few times a day if you catch me being very busy. Reason for this is I get input directly from the users as to what they need to accomplish certain things and I add or extend the functionality to meet their needs as quickly as possible. You do not need to keep up with updates, once installed you just need the latest update to get up to speed.

The SRD is available on multiple sites online with good navigation (Sovelior's, d20srd, etc), so I wouldn't be surprised, if this specific piece isn't your prime dl. :)

Given Andargor's presence on developers forums, I'm not very surprised by the low level stuff being downloaded more.

His version includes a very useful search feature, though.
