What percent of your 4e parties have an Expertise feat?

1/5. Only our party's star pact warlock took it, mainly because he's consistently had problems hitting targets. The rest of us haven't had that problem. I'm sure the rest of us will eventually take it, later in the paragon or epic tier, but its not a high priority for the rest of us.

50% of the group has taken it (a ranged cleric, an infernal warlock and a wizard).

The rogue is already usually hitting on a "4". The tactical warlord and the fighter also hit pretty well and besides those two players are barely aware of all the options in the first PHB.

Zero of seven at my table (all fifth level). Admittedly, they haven't had a chance to buy a feat since it came out.

Some have expressed vague interest in getting it eventually, but even they are more interested in other feats first. None of them have a particularly hard time hitting, and they're pretty good at using powers to pile on bonuses when they need to.

I'm curious to know what tiers people are playing at with these answers?

I think at heroic its good, paragon its awesome, and epic its absolutely stupid not to take.

Nobody, because I houseruled them into automatic mathematical adjustments at 5th, 15th, and 25th levels. (Or, alternately, everyone has them - in many cases, multiple times - depending on how you look at it.) If I hadn't, I think everyone would have taken it.

I didn't like the feat tax for weapon + implement users, and I didn't like that they don't help non-weapon, non-implement attacks, like dragon breath and firepulse.

We have 3 campaigns going (with different combinations of players for different weekends). Between the 3 campaigns, there are 13 PCs. Of those 13 PCs, 0 have taken it. All the PCs are still in heroic teir.

In our game with the most experienced players, 5/5. In our game with mostly experienced players who don't play often, haven't leveled up recently, and don't seem to like retraining 4/5 with the last one being a leader class who spent her feat on boosting her ability to defend her allies. In our game of almost all newbies, only 2/5. But I'm going to step in and kind of lampshade this feat when they hit level 6, because they deserve to know about it and the character builder doesn't exactly highlight its presence. Its easy for a new player without a lot of rules knowledge to miss, because they're going to focus on the recommended, race, and class feats at the top of the page, instead of on the drop down menus at the bottom.

Editted to add: the first game with 5/5 is at level 11. The second game with 4/5 is at level 5. The third game with 2/5 is at level 4. I'm permitting Expertise to cover all of your "usual" attacks rather than just attacks with a single weapon. By "usual" I mean that if your character's shtick is fighting with, say, one sword and one ax in a dual wield, then I'm going to permit you to apply one Expertise feat to both weapons.

In the low heroic tier game I DM... 0/6. ;)

Me? I always take it ASAP... of course, I'm also the crazy sort of guy who does stuff like point-buy 18s with a +2 in a stat just to have fun with one ridiculously high stat at 20 :)
