What price should I put on Peter Jackson's head?

How high a price should I put of Peter Jackson's head?

  • I don't see what was so bad about the movie. They didn't change anything important.

  • Can't we just offer the assassin eternal life in the Valinor sort of like Khomeini did with that Rus

I just got home from watching the first showing of the Two Towers in Vancouver. The Fellowship of the Ring lulled me into a false sense of security. Contrary to what you might have thought, Peter Jackson has far far far far FAR less of a sense for Middle Earth and the Lord of the Rings than you might previously have imagined.

Just a head's up: Liv Tyler is credited third in the final credits for the film and there's no Minas Morgul. The film is "based on the novel by J R R Tolkien."

Well, since LotR I was the first movie ever that I prefered to the book the movie was based upon, I now have high hopes for the second movie.

off topic posts aren't allowed, and this one should be in movies anyway.

so u don't like a movie, say so. no need to post a freaking poll dude.

No OT polls allowed. Closed.

If you want to complain - and it appears that you'll be badly in the minority - we have a forum for movies. Head there, please! But I have to tell you; the absence of Minas Morgul has been no secret. I heard that it was in the third movie six or seven months ago.
