I seem to recall seeing a preview for a new campaign setting that had a different take on the standard fantasy races. The one difference that struck me most was that elves were a sort of evil race in general who had turned to the dark art of necromancy to maintain their longevity/immortality.

Does anyone recognize this setting or remember what it might be?

The elves of Eberron have turned to a type of positive energy form of necromancy to continue existing even after their natural lifespans have been exceeded. The Undying Court is made up of the most powerful and worthy elves who have died and been raised. They rule the elven islands and all noble elves desire to be raised to the Undying Court.

In any case this take on elves is one of the most compelling things about the Eberron setting for me.

sounds alot like my homebrew elves I have been using for the better part of a decade.

Though the extent of "publishing" I've done is mention them in a few threads here and on the WotC boards.
