while i was at the store the other day, i realized i needed a nautical sourcebook. i looked at both seas of blood and the seafarer's handbook in the stores, but from my brief skimming couldn't decide which would suit my needs better.

fighting the urge to impulse buy :p , i returned home, read the Psion reviews for both products, and picked the one i figured i could make the most use of in my campaign.

[edit] d'oh! and i forget to mention which one... i got seas of blood because the review said that the seafarer's handbook spent more time dealing with purely underwater environments and what i needed was mainly on the surface. not to say that the seafarer's handbook is no good, it just didn't match my needs.[/edit]

Kingdoms of Kalamar and Bluffside. So far I am two for two.

It is more important to read why they are recommended then just to see if they are recommended.

mmmm....squirmalicious

If it weren't for these boards, I never would have picked up Of Sound Mind--nor would I have ever found the best gaming store in the area, Games Plus. These boards make me so happy...*smiles at computer and blows it a kiss, stroking the side of the monitor lovingly*

Spycraft.

I've ordered Spycraft because of this board (and the Spycraftlite download - which I REALLY liked) - haven't actually recieved it yet though

I'm thinking of applying the rules to a Dark Angelish (ya know - Jessica Alba et al) setting and was wondering if it could perhaps even fit a MATRIX setting (with a few power/feat tweaks)

Unfortunately I couldn't get my money back, either.;)

Are you serious about this Black Omega - is there something you didn't like that I should know about?

Fading Suns d20, Geanavue: Stones of Peace, Spycraft (after being tipped off to the Lite version DL). Fading Suns and Spycraft were fantastic! Geanavue didn't suit my current needs, but was extremely detailed and had a double-sided city map to die for (I'll figure out a way to work Geanavue in at some point down the road--It's too good not to use).

Most everything AFTER I get my SL stuff, basically as much as I can afford. Legions, Freeport Adventures, Atlas's Penumbra line, Troll-Lords, heck free stuff as well. :)
