I'm looking at several titles, looking for new ways to run the game: Mutants & Masterminds, Arcana Unearthed, BESM d20, and d20 Future. Which one has been the best in play for you? Which one seems the most flexible? Innovative? etc?

Depends on what your looking, for I recommend the Iron Kingdoms as an innovative setting. I'm also partial to Spycraft. I wasn't a bif fan of arcanna unearhted so that isn't a cohice for me. I think that MM is decent though

AU is pure gold

Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed has done more to change the way my game runs than any single book since the advent of d20.

The magic system, the abscence of alignment, the death's door rules, the racial classes, the PC classes are all great. I can't say enough about how much I like this book.

I vote for the Conan RPG from Mongoose. It really is pretty good and I like how the magic system is suitable for the setting.

Sharn: City of Towers, it's not so much innovative in the idea as it's pretty much reset the standard for "what information should I put into a city detail for a game I'm running"

Mutants and Masterminds is the most innovative and flexible, but there isn't huge amount you can drop into a D&D campaign.

Same for Spycraft, but its really good for a Modern setting.

If your one of the types that only plays fantasy then Arcana Unearthed is probably the best bet from that list.

I am currently running an OGL Steampunk game and can recommend it, though you have to do a fair amount of work to set up a campaign for it. (Kiln Publishing is working on a couple of settings for it, but they will not be out till next year.)

Mutants & Masterminds is the best thing that happened to D20 since its beginning. If you should decide for M&M, you should definitely check out Freedom City and Crooks!, too.

Great wisdom. Live by this.

Seriously, though, don't buy M&M if all you do is play D&D. If you are seriously considering playing a supers game this is by far the best I have ever seen.
